Director's Bio
Mattis Dovier is a young illustrator and animator. His visual universe is marked by references to cinema, ero-guro manga and japanimation mixed with traditional animation and digital aesthetic.
His style proclaims his love for 8-bit video games, the early days of the internet and Gifs but also for classical works like Gustave Doré’s engravings.
The visual novel « Inside », commissioned by Channel 4, reveals his interest in short films and his willingness to explore narration through his drawing.
